Pet Policy

 

An additional fee of $400.00 MXN per pet, per stay will apply. We accept up to two small or medium-sized pets, or one large pet per room.

Pet owners are 100% responsible for any expenses related to the repair or replacement of hotel property damaged by their pet, as well as medical expenses in the event a guest or staff member is injured by the pet.

Under no circumstances may pets be left alone inside the room, as they may become anxious and start barking or howling, disturbing other guests’ rest.

An additional $150.00 MXN laundry fee per blanket/bedspread will apply if housekeeping reports strong odors, fecal stains, or excessive pet hair.

Upon arrival, guests must present their pet’s vaccination record, up to date, including proof of the most recent deworming (no more than 6 months old).

Aggressive pets that pose a risk to the safety of guests or staff will not be accepted. Pet owners are fully responsible for supervising their pet at all times, cleaning up after them (depositing waste in the designated areas), and for any incidents that may occur.

Owners must monitor their pet’s behavior inside and outside the room throughout their stay. Barking or howling is not acceptable, especially during nighttime hours, regardless of whether the guest is present in the room.

Pets must never be left unattended in the room. If the guest leaves the property for any reason or length of time, they must take their pet(s) with them, as the hotel does not provide pet-sitting services.

A penalty fee of $500.00 MXN per pet will be applied for any violation of this policy (e.g., bringing pets without notifying the hotel, or leaving them unattended in the room).

The hotel assumes no responsibility in the event that a pet becomes ill, escapes, or suffers an accident while staying at the property.

Guests are required to read and comply with all points outlined in this Pet Policy.

Should the guest disagree with any of the rules and request a cancellation, no refund will be provided.

By signing this document, the guest confirms that they fully understand the responsibility of staying at Hotel Valle Místico with a pet, as well as the consequences of failing to comply with these rules. In such cases, hotel management reserves the right to request the guest’s departure without any refund.

As a Pet Friendly Hotel, Valle Místico aims to encourage guests to enjoy meaningful moments and recreational activities with their pets, ensuring they remain together throughout their stay. Pets must not be left in the care of hotel staff.
